Infors HT has taken this to heart and its Celltron shaker features as special antibacterial housing which incorporates a metallic silver paint additive to prevent bacterial build-up on surfaces by killing bacteria and fungi.
The Celltron’s magnetic drive is waterproof, and being belt-less produces especially smooth start up and breaking. The power consumption is only 4 Watts, which is why there is so little heat radiation and why in-incubator temperature remains so constant.
The robust design is coupled with intuitive operation on a separate touch-key display field.
The touch controller is actually magnetic, allowing it to be attached to the outside of your incubator cabinet, allowing an easy overview of the operational status throughout culturing.
Furthermore, the Celltron’s construction, with stainless steel and ABS Plastic, means that this shaker is ideal for use under corrosive conditions with CO2 gasing.
The load capacity, for a Celltron with a universal tray, allows you to culture in 5 1L flasks, down to 35 mL flasks. Whatever your preferred option, you will find that the Celltron offers you the reliability and flexibility you need to make the most of shaken cell culturing.
