Portable temperature data logger is designed for use in a wide range of transportation and storage applications, especially in the food and beverage, and pharmaceutical industries
Signatrol is introducing its low cost SL51M MiniTag portable temperature data logger.
This unit is designed for use in a wide range of transportation and storage applications, especially in the food and beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
The high visibility bright yellow MiniTag utilises the company's self-contained, water resistant, SL51 single channel temperature data logger.
This compact logging button, which can store up to 2000 readings over a temperature range of -40 to +85C, simply clips securely into the tag.
In addition to the mounting hole, the tag has a powerful built-in magnet so that it can be easily attached to metal trays, trolleys or racking.
Set up and data download is achieved simply and quickly using the SL50R Button Reader, without the need to remove the logger from the tag.
The reader interfaces to the RS232 or USB port of a PC and sampling rates can be set from one second to twenty-four hours.
The reader is totally compatible with Signatrol's universal TempIT-lite operating software, which can be downloaded free of charge from the Signatrol web site.
The logger can be set up to record in a continuous First-in,-First-out, or Stop When Full mode.
Data can be securely stored and retrieved at a later time for display in graphical format.
The built-in battery can power the logger for up to ten years or one million readings, depending on the application.
The software can be up-graded to TempIT-Pro which provides important additional features such as data table, export data, email graphs, snap to trace, and automated MKT (mean kinetic temperature) calculations.
The TempIT Software is a single package that is used to set up all Signatrol's data loggers and enables different types of logger to be seamlessly integrated for different applications.
Each unit has the capability of storing specific manifest details and features a unique serial number etched into the base for traceability purposes.
The delayed start facility of up to 45 days allows the logger to be programmed to commence with a particular process or transport schedule.
Alternatively it can be set to start logging when triggered by an event, for instance, when a particular temperature threshold is exceeded.
