Innova Biosciences has launched a revolutionary novel conjugation method which bypasses the usual desalting and dialysis steps, enabling the user to make protein conjugates with a hands-on time of just 30 seconds.
With Lightning-Link, making primary antibody conjugates is so easy that many immunoassay techniques, such as western blotting and Elisa, will be vastly simplified by eliminating secondary reagents and cutting the number of incubation and wash steps.
Initially the technology is available in the form of a Lightning-Link HRP kit and conjugation services performed in the laboratories of Innova Biosciences.
However, other labels will be included in kits to be launched very shortly, including alkaline phospatase, glucose oxidase, phycoerythrin and allophycocyanin.
