The head of Chiltern International Indian office, Umakanta Sahoo, has been invited to give a presentation at the Horizons 2006 Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) conference and exhibition
Raps is the foremost worldwide member organisation creating and upholding standards of ethics, credentialing and education for the regulatory affairs profession within the health product sector.
This year's conference will be run under the theme 'Innovation to Regulation'.
Dr Sahoo will be joining other emerging market experts to present in a session focusing on clinical trials in Latin America and India.
"To make the session more international we will discuss the evolution of documentation needed for the registration process in Brazil - paralleled with India and other Latin American countries," commented Dr Sahoo.
"The approval timeframe, major difficulties and solutions, role of regulatory professionals in the regions, costs involved, registration process and future trends will also be analyzed." The conference encompasses international perspectives across product lines and features multiple educational tracks, exhibits and opportunities for professionals in regulatory affairs, clinical trials and R+D to meet with peers.
