SS Group Services, a specialist in the supply and support of innovative microscopy and analytical instrumentation, has secured three exclusive new distribution contracts
The Manchester-based company has become the sole UK distributor for high technology products from Cameca, Kammrath and Weiss, and Nanomegas - enhancing its reputation as one of Europe's leading players where an extensive product portfolio is combined with the highest levels of customer service.
Cameca is a specialist in the design and manufacture of innovative scientific instrumentation.
Secondary ion mass spectrometers, electron probe micro-analysers, low energy X-ray emission spectrometers and tomographic atom probes are some of the highly specialised instruments manufactured by the French-based company.
The second supply chain involves Dortmund-based Kammrath and Weiss, which manufactures high precision micro and nano systems used in areas such as IC testing, materials testing, cryo products and also specimen stages.
The worldwide company has a trading pedigree dating back more than 30 years.
The third name to be added to ISS's comprehensive product range is Nanomegas whose headquarters is in Brussels.
The company was created in 2004 by a team of scientists whose expertise in electron crystallography has lead to the development of the Spinning Star advanced diffraction instrument.
Which is designed to help the TEM user (100-400kV) to easily find the true structure (crystal parameters, symmetry, atomic positions) of nanomaterials that are otherwise impossible to determine by X-ray diffractometry or high resolution TEM microscopy.
