Shield Medicare is preparing for a new stage in its evolution - a brand new, purpose built facility at Baglan Energy Park, near Swansea, South Wales
Managing director Richard Salvage said of the proposal: "Shield Medicare intends to have the best facility of its kind anywhere in the World for manufacturing and researching products for life-science cleanrooms." This shows just how serious Shield Medicare is about continuing to provide the highest quality sterile contamination control products to the market and keep up with increased demand.
This impressive project will bring Shield Medicare's production, warehouse and distribution facilities all under one roof by December 2006.
In addition to quadrupling the size of the existing production and distribution facilities, the new site will house state-of-the-art production cleanrooms and highly sophisticated microbiology labs, ensuring quality of product and response to the customer.
It will also devote more resources to research and development, enabling the New Product Development Team access to all the facilities they need to keep producing the highest quality contamination control products for life-science cleanrooms.
