Supplier of immunoassay kits and reagents to the life sciences research market has announced the recent re-launch of its small molecule immunoassay product line
As part of this re-launch strategy, Assay Designs has issued a termination notice for its OEM contract with a significant life science partner and will focus on selling these products direct to its customer base.
"Assay Designs is the leading supplier of small molecule kits to the life science research market," notes Shannon Richey, director of sales and marketing at Assay Designs.
"Our kits have been purchased by and sold under the labels of prominent life science companies for several years".
"Many of these customers were unaware of our name, unless they took the time to look for the 'Manufactured by Assay Designs' statement that appears on the last page of the insert".
"The re-launch of the Correlate brand provides us an opportunity to capture a greater market share under the Assay Designs label".
The Assay Designs Correlate product line includes over 34 immunoassay kits.
Assay Designs Elisa kits provide precise and reproducible quantification of the level of biomolecules within a broad range of samples.
These kits feature stable, colour coded and ready to use reagents.
The performance of these assays is supported by numerous published references.
"We are excited about the possibilities of introducing ourselves to customers as the original creator of the small molecule immunoassay kits they have come to know and trust," comments Karen Collins, product manager for the Correlate product line.
"End-users have responded positively to our initial marketing campaign and we have been successful in locating our customers who purchased the kits under a different label".
"This positive response is a testament to the quality of our kits and breadth of published validation for these products".
"This is an exciting time for Assay Designs," states Gustavo Salem, president and CEO of Assay Designs.
"The company now has the resources to fully support a direct sales and marketing effort for our product lines".
"We will use the market prominence of our Correlate products as a springboard for growing our new products in the cell signaling, heat shock and inflammation areas."
