Latest release validates LimsLink implementation to ensure data integrity and security between instruments and laboratory information management systems
Labtronics has announced the release of LimsLink Validation Toolkit 4.0.
This new version was developed to support validation of LimsLink 4.0, Labtronics's latest release of their industry leading solution for integrating any instrument to any Lims.
The Validation Toolkit provides full documentation to guide companies through Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ), reducing the amount of time and resources required for conducting a thorough validation of their LimsLink implementation.
The documentation includes testing procedures, tables, lists and charts that guide and assist in the IQ and OQ validation of LimsLink installations and methods.
IQ and OQ Checklists cover items such as hardware, software and file verification, installation protocol, validation of the security components and validation and versioning of the integration methods.
Using the documentation package as their guide, LimsLink users are able to take a thorough and structured approach to validation of their application.
"Many of our customers have stringent validation requirements that they need to comply with including FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO certification and implementation of GLP and GMP Standards," said Robert Pavlis, president of Labtronics.
"The LimsLink Validation Toolkit is an essential component in ensuring the integrity of your automated data transfer".
"It provides excellent guidance to those companies that prefer to conduct the validation of LimsLink themselves and is essentially the same toolkit that we use when conducting validation services on our customers' behalf." The Validation Toolkit provides laboratories that need to validate their LimsLink installation with a valuable resource for increasing the efficiency of their validation process.
