Metrohm UK has announced the acquisition of the Applikon range of on-line analysis equipment, which includes On-Line Process Instruments for COD, Alkalinity, Ammonia , Cyanide, Chlorine, Fluoride plus many other ions; the new MARGA (Monitor for Aerosols and Gases in Ambient Air) Instrument for continuous monitoring of air; and the new ON-Line VA system with integral digester.
Trace Metal Analysis using Voltammetry: Voltammetry ( VA) can achieve part per billion limits of detection for trace metals and for a fraction of the cost of other analytical techniques e.g ICP, ICP-MS, AAS.
In addition to this VA can also be used for analysis of other species such as anions, and electrochemically active organics.
