The completion and occupancy of a new headquarters marks an important milestone for Assay Designs
Assay Designs has moved into a new headquarters located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The 27,000 square foot custom designed facility is located in the State Street Business Park.
The Company contracted with Kirco to complete the project.
"The completion and occupancy of this building marks an important milestone for Assay Designs," notes Gustavo Salem, President and CEO of Assay Designs.
"This building provides an improved work environment for our 85 employees".
"It also meets our needs as we expand our research and our sales and marketing efforts." The new facility will house the company's administrative, manufacturing, research and development personnel.
This location replaces a building the company had leased in the Avis Farms industrial park and offers over 33% more space.
In addition, the new facility was designed to allow for efficient placement of automation equipment within the manufacturing area to meet the company's growth in product shipments.
Dana Hamilton, Director of Operations and the lead project manager comments, "This custom built facility addresses the unique infrastructure requirements of a life science company".
"The state of the art laboratory and manufacturing areas will be instrumental to the company's future growth."
