Nickel-Electro, the UK-based manufacturer of Clifton temperature control equipment, is introducing optimised control into the NE2D unstirred and NE4 stirred and circulating Clifton water baths
These popular ranges of Clifton water baths already have PID control featuring adaptive tuning, providing instant control from start up automatically adjusts PID values with actual temperature readings until it achieves set temperature.
These PID values determine the heat up rate, for the load and volume in the water bath, producing negligible overshoot.
The addition of Clifton Optimized control is a new development since it fine-tunes its PID values by optimizing any potential difference between set point and actual bath liquid temperature using smart temperature control technology.
Customers can activate when necessary allowing Clifton water baths to update their PID values relearning how to control their process, cope with changing liquid types, volumes and environmental factors at a set temperature for optimal control.
Melvin Dickson, managing director of Nickel-Electro says: "The Clifton range of water baths have always been extremely popular".
"We hope that by introducing this additional feature we have enhanced the capabilities of the range".
All products in the Clifton range come with a three year warranty.
