LabWare's 2006 European Customer Education Conference took place at the Rio Park Resort Hotel, Faro, Portugal, on 8-12 May 2006
The five-day meeting consisted of workshops, breakout sessions and formal presentations.
It was attended by almost 200 LabWare Lims users.
This annual user meeting has been renamed Customer Education Conference to reflect the training focus and content of the meeting.
The conference workshops covered topics such as SAP interfacing, CDS and instrument integration, pharmaceutical, process and other industry accelerated implementation solutions.
Formal presentations addressed a range of new product developments and a preview of the next version of LabWare's Weblims interface for web browsers and PDAs.
LabWare is a global Lims supplier and this European conference is one of a number of user meetings it holds each year.
It follows a similar meeting in North America a few weeks before.
A CEC was held in Bahrain in the Middle East immediately following the European event, and other conferences are planned for Asia Pacific, South Africa and other perhaps other regions later in 2006.
