Caroline Briggs, a pharmaceutical procurement consultant, has become an associate of the Delos Partnership, a global management and training consultancy, to deliver first rate education, training and consultancy to the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.
Briggs, who runs her own procurement agency, has an enormous amount of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
She has served as head of global chemicals sourcing, global OTC actives sourcing manager, site procurement manager and European purchasing manager for an array of organisations including Invitrogen, GlaxoSmithKline and Zeneca.
At GSK, a company which boasts the UK's top procurement function, she was instrumental in driving leading edge techniques and practices such as electronic auctions and low cost sourcing.
