Unity Real Time facilitates compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements (e.g ISO 15189 and CLIA) and helps meet the quality demands of the clinical laboratory.
The system can be easily integrated with existing laboratory information systems (LIS) and laboratory instruments to consolidate quality control data management into one consistent platform.
Unity Real Time provides high-quality statistical process control with comprehensive audit trails, facilitates run-time and supervisory data review, offers advanced charts and reports for data analysis, and monitors ongoing performance of quality control rules with analytical goal options.
Unity Real Time also enables participation in the Unity interlaboratory programme to compare laboratory QC results against the largest peer groups in the clinical diagnostics industry.
Unity Real Time can be used with the patented Westgard Advisor add-on module to automatically recommend and implement optimal QC rules for each test.
By establishing proper quality control design, the module helps the lab decrease false rejections, and attain desired quality goals with the highest error detection rate possible.
This reduces desensitisation to false error flags, and ultimately saves time and money by eliminating unnecessary troubleshooting and repeat testing.
