Labmedics recently celebrated another milestone in the company's history when it supplied the first Aquakem 600 to a laboratory in Finland.
The Aquakem was supplied to Nablabs Laboratories in Oulu, one of a group of six located throughout Finland, which provides a comprehensive range of analytical and measurement services.
The laboratories have versatile, cutting edge and purpose-built automated equipment at their disposal.
The analytical portfolio includes over 200 inorganic, organic, microbiological and physical tests.
An extensive range of methods and a highly skilled staff facilitate the performance of even the most demanding assignments.
"We chose the Aquakem because it was specifically developed for the precise analysis of water and environmental samples and is easy to use," comments Mari Juntunen, production and quality manager, Nablabs.
"We can now analyse a larger sample series more swiftly and use our resources more ably.
"For example ammonia was previously tested in each of our six laboratories.
"Now all these samples can be concentrated into one laboratory.
"This also helps with our quality and validation work and means that we are able to meet our efficiency targets".
Initially Nablabs will validate ammonia, nitrate, nitrite and phosphate.
Later the company will broaden the scope of activities with validation of total nitrogen and phosphorus.
Labmedics is a market leader in fully automated, discrete photometric analysis for inorganic analytes.
