The specially treated front cover actively protects against most common bacteria, molds, and fungi.
The InduMedical is intended for use in hygiene sensitive environments for medical, pharmaceutical and food processing applications.
Its active protection against microbes makes equipment easier to clean and keeps it cleaner and safer between cleaning as recommended by GMP (good manufacturing practice) and HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control point) systems.
The InduMedical is a foil-covered short travel keyboard.
It uses high quality Omron mechanical switches for excellent tactile feedback and comfortable operation of the keyboard.
The chassis is an insulated housing, which ensures robustness and stability.
For use in the expected application environments the keyboard is protected against dust, dirt, grease and is splash-proof to IP65/NEMA4x.
The keyboard surface can be completely cleaned and disinfected.
The keyboard is offered both as compact version and with an integrated touchpad.
Both PS/2 and USB interfaces are available.
In addition, InduKey offers customised versions of the InduMedical upon request.
