Autoclude, the UK based manufacturer of peristaltic pumps has, since its acquisition by the Samuel Hodge Group some 20 years ago, traded as a division of Victor Pyrate
From 1 April 2006 however the company underwent some major changes.
The continuing international success of the Autoclude business has encouraged the group to launch Autoclude as a separate company to Victor Pyrate which itself will be relaunched as Victor Marine to reflect the company's global position within the marine sector.
Victor Marine has also recently acquired the Hodge Oily Water 'Victor Minisep' Marine operation to produce a range of oily water separators.
Robert Croft, MD of Autoclude and Victor Marine, said: "We have a unique window of opportunity to develop beyond our current substantial positions within both the pump and marine markets.
"In April at the Analytica show in Munich, we launched a new range of Autoclude cased peristaltic pumps featuring the new Easy Tube Loading pump head and a series of new marine products including the first Oily Water Separators which rolled off the Victor Marine production line".
Other changes include the promotion of John Watkins to general manager of Autoclude; Watkins first joined the company 18 years ago as a development engineer and has much experience of the company's products, systems and markets.
