Justice Laboratory Software has released version 5.5.4 of its popular chromatography data system range, Chrom Perfect
One key new feature has been added to the peak detection algorithm which allows Chrom Perfect to handle complex chromatograms far more effectively with the use of nested windows.
Chromatographers who have complex analysis, with many peaks, face difficulties automating their analysis and reporting accurate data when the search windows from two expected components overlap.
Starting with Chrom Perfect Spirit version 5.5.4, overlap is handled in a deliberate fashion, affording new strategies for peak identification.
Now, a large area under a window can be identified as a group, and nested windows of smaller groups or individual peaks that are located within this larger window can be identified separately and excluded from the larger group.
This new innovation will be of particular interest to laboratories with complex chromatographic analysis with many peaks over a short retention time.
The petrochemical industry for example will find this new feature particularly valuable.
Some new auditing features have been added for users in regulated environments to allow modifications of raw and bound files to be audited by the inclusion of file version numbers.
Therefore with version 5.5.4 it is now possible for laboratories to provide additional advanced documentation to auditors and supervisory bodies to support their analysis.
There have been a number of other improvements added to the software to improve the chromatography reporting for general applications and also specific new functionality full-size exclusion chromatography users (SEC).
Additional features have also been added for analysis that requires group reporting.
With nine new report variables to allow for group area and height normalization and cumulative calculations to be made automatically and presented within a Chrom Perfect formatted report.
Justice Laboratory Software are constantly improving the functionality and usability of their product.
There are a number of minor and functional changes to key areas of the software.
With specific enhancements to the data acquisition program and batch reprocessing
