Xylem’s YSI Life Sciences will be presenting its latest technical poster at IBioIC’s 2nd Annual Conference later this month.
Held at the University of Strathclyde's Technology and Innovation Centre from 28-29 January, the Conference is a fitting launchpad for YSI's 'Rapid Measurement of Xylose and Glucose for Monitoring Corn Stover Fermentation in Bioethanol Production' poster - which is particularly relevant to researchers and production engineers.
The company will also be demonstrating the benefits of the 2900 Series Biochemistry Analyser.
The modular 2900 Series offers a range of configurations for up to three sensor modules and is capable of measuring as many as six chemistries in less than a minute.
The chemistries range from: glucose, lactate, glutamine, xylose, ethanol, methanol, sucrose, galactose, lactose, choline, glycerol and hydrogen peroxide, with additional measurement of ammonium and potassium.
Product features:
- Analyte specific results in one minute or less
- Proprietary immobilised enzyme electrodes
- Unique fluidics resists clogging
- Trusted measurement technology
- Automated sample handling
A team of specialists will also be on hand to discuss the various capabilities of Xylem’s analytical offering including simple laboratory instrumentation for refractive index, pH, turbidity, conductivity and DO measurement to more complex analysers such as high performance, multiple wavelength polarimeters and auto-titrators; offering guidance and support for those wishing to find out more about the technology.
