Anton Paar has described the use if its L-Rix 510 inline refractometer in ensuring sugar is dissolved at the correct concentration.
The EHEDG certified inline refractive index sensor L-Rix 510 is installed directly in the recirculation pipework, ensuring best operation at a viscous sugar solution, and measuring sugar concentration and line temperature continuously. The resulting data can be used for controlling the process adding additional water or sugar for a constant final sugar syrup.
