With typical extraction times of between 15 and 30 minutes for typical solvent amounts of 6 and 50 mL, Microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) is a powerful and meanwhile widely accepted method to speed up extraction applications.
Anton Paar provides two different reactors for MAE applications. Depending on the preferred workflow and required sample and solvent amount, either Monowave 450 or Multiwave PRO SOLV can be used.
