Ashtead Technology Rentals has launch a new website offering easy access to hundreds of instruments for environmental monitoring, remote visual inspection and non-destructive testing
Ashtead says its website has always been a favourite among instrument engineers needing fast access to the latest technologies, but as marketing executive Calum Dow explains: "One of the challenges that goes with offering such a vast choice of instruments is making it easy for customers to quickly find the best instrument for their application.
"Naturally, our expert engineers are available to help in this regard, however the web site is available 24/7, thereby enabling customers to find what they want, when they want".
The key feature of the new website is better, faster searching.
Customers can 'drill down' to a product by selecting categories e.g environmental monitoring - toxic gas monitoring - carbon monoxide monitor, which then displays a choice of six instruments for which specifications and a downloadable PDF are available.
A new contact page on the web site provides direct telephone and email access to local Ashtead engineers for each of the product groups, and the 'news/events' button provides access to a list of news items and product application stories in addition to a list of events at which customers can meet Ashtead and try new products.
Most people think of renting when something they need is expensive and they are only likely to need it for a short period, however, the new web site offers a compelling list of reasons for renting.
