Sionex has appointed Eric Kirleis as vice president of worldwide sales based at its corporate headquarters in Bedford, USA
Following the recent announcement of the availability of the Sionex Microanalyzer and its debut at the ISA expo 2006 in Houston, TX next week, Sionex continues its strategy of providing microDMx sub-systems to OEMs in the process control sector.
Kirleis will provide a sales focus for the company strategy concentrating on the Microanalyzer.
"We are pleased to announce this key appointment as we accelerate our revenue generation through new design wins," said Wes Davis, Sionex's president and chief executive officer.
"Eric brings a wealth of experience in the process control and regulatory monitoring markets with a strong sales focus.
"Sionex success in the threat detection markets is now a main springboard toward further growth for our company in some of the industrial sectors, like process control".
Kirleis was previously at Mettler-Toledo Ingold where he was responsible for North American sales and marketing serving the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotech, food and beverage segments.
Prior to that, he held the position of director of sales and services at Thermo Electron, Environmental Instruments Division.
He holds a BS in international business and economics from the State University of New York, Plattsburgh, an ALM from Harvard University and an MBA from Cornell University.
