ABgene has signed an agreement with KBiosystems to become the exclusive sales retailer of the latest innovation in automated plate sealing, the next generation Alps 3000
The deal is the latest move to further cement what has already been an eight year relationship between the two companies, when ABgene began selling the first generation Alps 100.
Following on from this, in 2001, KBiosystems developed the Alps 300 .
ABgene continues to sell both of these products on an exclusive basis, and now is pleased to add the Alps 3000 to its catalogue, a product it believes will impact the future of high throughput plate sealing.
While specific details of the deal are not being disclosed, the agreement between the two companies ensures that ABgene will remain the exclusive supplier of the KBiosystems heat sealing equipment for the coming years.
John Woodford, services director of KBiosystems commented on the deal, saying: "We are pleased to announce this has been finalised.
KBiosystems are at the forefront of developing new technologies for laboratory automation, and ABgene's sales and marketing has always ensured that Alps machines are trusted by laboratories around the world".
Naturally, the Alps range is compatible with ABgene's extensive range of plastic consumables, foils and adhesive films.
