This represents the third time in four years that Andor has won this prestigious award, which recognises excellence in marketing across Ireland
Andor Technology was recently presented the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) award for export marketing for 2006.
"The award acknowledges the huge amount of work behind the launch of Andor's new catalogue" explains Andor's head of marketing, Mark Donaghy.
The Andor catalogue presents a new direct sales channel for Andor's increasing range of mid-range products.
The catalogue which is 320 pages in length, contains a wealth of theory, applications and products.
Over 400 products are now being sold directly through this channel to customers all round the world, including camera, detectors, spectrographs, microscopy systems, software and accessories.
"We are positioning it as the bible of digital camera technology.
"In fact the section on camera and light fundamentals is the most downloaded document on our website and we have had a tremendously positive response from our customers.
"We now have almost 20,000 catalogues out in the public domain, and a major increase on web traffic over the last 12 months" added Donaghy.
