International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) honoured the company with awards for best supplier advertising and marketing and best supplier website
In presenting the awards, which recognise excellence in the bottled water industry, the IBWA cited the clear design and insightful descriptions that characterise the Whatman website, as well as the company's poignant advertising campaigns.
The IBWA also praised the Whatman Microbiology Challenge, a quiz that appears on the Whatman website, which offers microbiologists a chance to test their knowledge and win free products.
Propelled by growing public interest in healthier lifestyles and natural foods, bottled water is the fastest-growing segment of the beverage industry.
As a result, an increasingly well-informed customer base is demanding assurances of water purity and safety from their bottled water manufacturers.
"Through our online and print marketing campaigns, Whatman has been working steadily to inform the bottled water industry of the value that our products can provide to their business," said Tiana Gorham, Whatman product manager, filtration.
