PerkinElmer has signed a three-year agreement with Schering, a subsidiary of Schering-Plough, to provide and implement its OneSource maintenance solution at four laboratory sites in New Jersey
This represents the extension of an existing relationship between these companies for analytical and life sciences instrumentation and related services.
OneSource offers a comprehensive, flexible business solution for all lab equipment maintenance and asset management activities.
Through consolidated and proactive management, OneSource provides customers with better control of their maintenance costs and helps to improve laboratory productivity through increased uptime.
"Schering-Plough's decision demonstrates its position as a leader in the industry, capitalizing on the growing trend toward laboratory management solutions that are flexible and deliver a high level of productivity," said Robert Friel, president of PerkinElmer Life and Analytical Sciences.
"OneSource is a proven solution in that regard."
