A 2006 report available from major life-sciences media company Biocompare has named Syngene image analysers as the best products for reproducibility and customer satisfaction
The 2006 report titled 'Imaging and analysis systems: understanding end-user needs', available from Biocompare, is based on the responses of over 520 US scientists currently using gel imaging systems.
The researchers surveyed were asked about brand preferences; how many gels and blots they currently work with; the stains and dyes they prefer; as well as future purchasing plans.
The survey results showed that although Syngene is not the largest supplier of imagers in the USA, the researchers polled gave Syngene top marks in customer satisfaction because its systems provide exceptional reproducibility.
A researcher at a major US biotech company agrees with the survey's results and said: "I am not surprised the scientists asked are happy with the performance of their Syngene systems.
"After we assessed several imagers from larger suppliers, we decided from the quality of results it generates, the only one we wanted to buy is from Syngene".
Paula Maia, Syngene's vice president of sales, added: "We are delighted by this new report from Biocompare, because it provides independent confirmation that Syngene is setting the industry benchmark for quality and performance.
"Although we may not yet have the largest share of the US imaging market, reviews like this will help to endorse Syngene's excellent reputation.
"Additionally, it ensures researchers world-wide can be confident that if it is exceptional reproducibility and complete satisfaction they are looking for in an image analyser then a Syngene system is the right choice."
