Revised edition of Scott Specialty Gases reference chart listing compounds used for monitoring hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) as mandated with respect to maximum achievable control technology (Mact)
The expanded chart now includes toxic industrial compounds (TICs) and lists concentration ranges that are currently available from Scott.
Interferent gas mixtures have also been added to the chart.
The national emissions standards for hazardous air pollutants were promulgated on 12 October 2005 and are pursuant to Section 112 (d) of the US Clean Air Act.
The new standards target hazardous waste from sources that burn hazardous waste, including: commercial and onsite incinerators, cement kilns, lightweight aggregate kilns, boilers, and hydrochloric acid production furnaces.
