ClinPhone has appointed Ralf Oxenfarth as business development director, following the company's substantial growth over the past 12 months
In his new role, Oxenfarth will act as a senior figure within the business development's operational team, supporting existing clients including Roche, Abbott and Boehringer-Ingelheim in Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
Oxenfarth will be working closely with the European team to achieve its aggressive expansion targets.
Having worked previously as business development director for Quintiles, Oxenfarth brings with him over 20 years experience.
Further experience includes business unit director for Innovex and sales manager at Merz.
Oxenfarth holds a PhD in biology from the University of Bonn and is a certified project manager by the Chamber of Commerce Hamburg.
In this new role, Oxenfarth will be responsible for achieving agreed sales targets, seeking and securing new business from ClinPhone's existing client and prospect accounts, account management of current customers, contracting and proposal activities as well as acting as a coach and mentor to junior team members.
