Eksigent, a developer of advanced low-flow fluid delivery technologies for drug discovery and other life science applications, has announced a new distribution agreement with UK-based Presearch
The agreement covers sales of Eksigent's NanoLC HPLC product line in the UK and Ireland.
Presearch, founded in 1991, specialises in providing service to analytical and life science research customers.
The company's offerings include HPLC, GC, flash chromatography, precision fluid delivery and organoleptic sensors.
Presearch has an installed base of several hundred customers, including top UK pharmaceutical companies as well as leading universities and research institutes.
"We selected Presearch because of their track record in selling HPLC systems to a wide variety of customers," commented David Weber, Eksigent's president and CEO.
"The addition of our unique NanoLC products will help them better serve existing customers as well as expand their reach into new proteomics markets".
"We believe that Eksigent's Nano LC systems represent a real advance in technology, providing the benefits of non-split flow," stated Simon Lambert, sales director for Presearch.

Eksigent is a pioneer in low-flow fluid delivery systems that automate and accelerate proteomics, drug discovery, drug delivery and other life science applications.
Eksigent's core technologies include microscale pumping, microfluidic system design and microfabrication.
The company offers solutions for nanoscale liquid chromatography, high-performance capillary liquid chromatography and drug delivery.
