BFi Optilas and CVI announce three new ranges of products: glass aspheric lenses, fused silica anamorphic prism pairs, and a 2x beam expander
BFi Optilas and CVI announce three new ranges of products.
First is a full range of precision-moulded glass aspheric lenses, available unmounted with a standard BBAR coating for 650-1064 nm.
The molding process eliminates the grinding and polishing steps, making it an economical and reproducible method of large volume asphere production.
Applications include laser diode collimating and focusing, fibre coupling, barcode scanning, LCD and LCOS digital projection, optical data storage, microscopic measurement and distance remote sensing.
Also introduced is a complement to currently available SF11 anamorphic prism pairs.
The new fused silica version has been designed for use with Excimer and high energy Nd:YAG lasers.
Also added is the option to order the prisms coated but unmounted and un-housed.
Anamorphic prism pairs are used for one-dimensional beam expansion, beam reduction or beam shaping.
Last in the news is the addition of a 2x beam expander to the existing range of 3x, 5x and 10x for both high-energy and UV beam expanders.
This expansion ratio is particularly useful for fibre laser and Excimer laser users and manufacturers.
BFi Optilas and CVI partnership covers Benelux, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Spain, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
In all these territories, BFi Optilas offers CVI optics at manufacturer list price while offering its own proximity services.
Customer can thus benefit from the CVI quality at a very competitive price, and, with the largest inventory in this field, a quick delivery time.
