Peak Scientific says it is now well established as a world- class manufacturer of high quality gas generators and this award confirms its commitment to customers and partners worldwide
Peak Scientific Instruments has been awarded the Queen's award for enterprise within the international trade category in 2007, after winning the first Queen's award in 2004.
Peak exported its laboratory gas generators for applications such as LC/MS and GC to 50 countries when it first won the Queen's award in 2004.
Today, it is exporting nitrogen, hydrogen and air generators to 69 countries world wide with 86% of our turnover originating from beyond the British border.
In response to growing world wide demand for its nitrogen, hydrogen and air generators especially through large OEM customers, Peak Scientific has significantly increased its manufacturing capacity as well as the office space at its head office in Scotland as part of their expansion plans.
In addition Peak Scientific will be opening a number of offices world wide in the near future.
According to Robin MacGeachy, managing director: "Winning the Queen's award for a second time is a tremendous honour for the company and a tribute to the hard work of our staff which is committed to making our company a success.
"As a rapidly growing company Peak Scientific is going through busy times with every single member of staff working at their limits and receiving royal approval for their hard work is highly appreciated throughout the company".
