Verso RT enzyme in the new range of Verso cDNA synthesis kits has an improved dynamic range which maximises sensitivity and allows users to detect a wider range of starting template concentrations
Thermo Fisher Scientific has introduced a new range of Verso cDNA synthesis kits and one-step reverse transcription - polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) kits.
These kits combine a new reverse transcription enzyme, improved priming options and optimised buffers to generate high yield of full length cDNA.
Designed to save time by minimising the steps involved in the RT-PCR protocol, the kits allow users to benefit from optimum flexibility and sensitivity in an easy to use format.
The enzyme mix also includes an RNase inhibitor which significantly reduces RNase contamination while simplifying pre-RT setup steps.
Verso RT-PCR kits offer laboratories the flexibility of using anchored oligo dT or random hexamers in a reaction.
The combination of these primers in the reverse transcription step gives greater coverage and yield of cDNA from RNA, resulting in greater reaction efficiency.
Several kit options are available in the Thermo Scientific Verso range to meet individual users' specific needs.
These include kits incorporating the ReddyMix buffer system which save time by allowing PCR products to be loaded directly onto an agarose gel.
Kits are also available with Thermo-Start DNA polymerase in the master mix for maximum specificity in the PCR reaction.
The Verso RT Enzyme is also included in a new range of Thermo Scientific Verso QRT-PCR kits for QPCR users.
