Samples for titrimetric analysis are subjected to a wide array of pre-treatment and preparation steps - with one of the most common being the need for heating
Until Mettler Toledo released its DH100 immersion heater system, it was largely impossible to automate the heating step in a cost-effective and convenient way, as most systems used hotplates or water baths to achieve the desired result.
Using the DH100, a sample can be heated up to a temperature in the range 50-100C and held there for a specified length of time prior to the next analysis step, or constantly throughout the whole of the method.
The intrinsically safe heater system can be used with any of the titrators in the Mettler Toledo range.
With the DH100, complicated analyses such as reducing sugar determination, the determination of saponifcation value of edible oils, and others can now be automated with ease.
