In order to increase its presence in the internationally-important European marketplace, Optikos of Boston, USA has appointed Armstrong Optical to represent it in the UK and Ireland.
Armstrong Optical has also been asked to identify opportunites for Optikos in the broader European marketplace where photonic-enabled product sales are widely acknowledged to represent ~20% of the bullish electronic equipment sector.
Over the last 25 years Optikos has become best known for its MTF and electro-optical system test equipment for all wavelengths from the UV to the far-infrared but also address intra-occular and contact lens measurement applications and other measurements aimed at supplying information on lens and optical system performance.
