Award recognises Waters's ongoing commitment to deliver best-in-class services for high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), UltraPerformance LC (UPLC) and mass spectrometry (MS) systems
For the sixth consecutive year, Waters has been named the recipient of the 2006 Omega NorthFace ScoreBoard Award.
As an independent quality auditing firm, Omega created the NorthFace ScoreBoard Award program in 2000 to recognise organisations which not only offer exemplary service to their customers, but who also centre their existence on a deep commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
Waters received the award at a special dinner presentation during Omega's annual symposium for customer operations and relationship exposition (Score) conference which took place 11-13 June 2007 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston.
"From the time an instrument is purchased, throughout its entire lifecycle, we strive to ensure that our customers receive the best service from Waters," said Dave Terricciano, vice-president, global operations and support of the Waters Division.
"Being recognised six years in a row illustrates our commitment to our customers in helping them manage assets, control costs, improve service quality and maintain regulatory compliance in the laboratory".
For nearly 50 years, Waters's Global Services offering has focused exclusively on optimising Waters products with superior service, support, and training.
Waters says its engineers and instructors have the most in-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the advanced science and technologies that provide the foundation for Waters systems, enabling them to maximise system uptime, increase laboratory productivity, accelerate throughput, speed time-to-market, and exceed compliance requirements.
