Roche and Eppendorf, both offering systems for use in life-science research, have entered into a co-marketing agreement for products for protein expression
Roche Applied Science, a business area of Roche Diagnostics, will contribute its RTS (rapid translation system) reagents portfolio, whereas Eppendorf's Thermomixer comfort system will replace Roche's RTS Proteomaster instrument.
The Thermomixer comfort conveniently offers simultaneous mixing and temperature control.
It meets even the highest demands for user-friendliness and flexibility.
The combination of Roche's and Eppendorf's product portfolios will provide researchers in the field of protein expression with superior and complete solutions for their work.
"The characteristics of the Thermomixer comfort will be the ideal complement for our reagents for protein expression," states Manfred Baier, head of Roche Applied Science.
"Roche's RTS reagents for protein expression makes a perfect application for the Eppendorf Thermomixer comfort, because its combination of temperature control and mixing features contribute to the best possible performance of the RTS System," adds Michael Schroeder, board member sales and marketing Eppendorf.
