Pipetman Ultra Multichannel, the latest design from Gilson to address the needs of users in high throughput laboratories is now available from Anachem.
It offers renowned Gilson durability, accuracy and precision together with the same innovations for comfort, ease of use and GLP introduced with the single channel Pipetman Ultra.
The pipettes are available with eight or 12 channels in 1-20ul and 20-300ul volume ranges.
All feature easy volume setting with either one hand using the thumb-wheel (even when wearing gloves) or with two hands using the push button. They can be personalised to their application or user with the protected colour coded labels or bar code from the warranty card. Pipetman Ultra Multichannel is easier to hold, with extra support through the gently hooked top.

With its three position natural movement tip-ejector less force is required to eject tips, resulting in less fatigue and no more sore thumbs. The tip ejector also has an adjustable stroke (patented) for maximum compatibility and improved comfort when ejecting tips. With its exclusive patented multi-functional electronic display, including decimal point and volumetric units, Pipetman Ultra Multichannel provides greater readability and improved accuracy. The risk of parallax errors, often a problem with analogue displays, is eliminated, ensuring 100% precision in volume selection.
This is further enhanced by the lockable volume thumbwheel that prevents the risk of volume change during pipetting - essential for GLP.
The LCD display also brings further GLP security and traceability functions with out of specification warnings and cycle counters - from the last time the volume was set, to check the number of cycles in the current run plus a record of the number of cycles since the pipette was first used, to monitor servicing requirements.
Maintenance and cleaning are ultra easy with the autoclavable tip-holder and ejector, direct access to the piston and O-ring and included recalibration tool.
