Disposable tip option for liquid handler increases throughput, efficiency and reproducibility and lowers costs by automating manual pipetting procedures
The addition of disposable tips to Gilson's Quad-Z 215 liquid handler offers an important tool for molecular biology applications including DNA probes, PCR preparation, automated sample prep and electrophoresis.
The disposable tips option increases throughput, efficiency and reproducibility and lowers costs by automating manual pipetting procedures.
Disposable tips also eliminate the problem of contamination from carryover and increase speed by eliminating wash steps.
The Quad-Z 215 accepts both 10ul and 200ul Gilson Diamond Tips for a dispensing volume range of 1 to 200ul.
Diamond Tips are made of the highest quality polypropylene to reduce protein binding and are autoclavable. Tips are stored on the bed for easy pick up by the probes of the Quad-Z 215.
A tip chute is positioned on the front of the locator plate for convenient disposal of tips.
The Quad-Z 215 can also be configured with fixed probes for applications that do not require disposable tips.
