The tips are available in two volume ranges (0.5-200ul and 0.1-10ul) with three different dispensing orifices outside dimensions (ODs).
Round 0.57mm OD tips are suitable for loading 0.6mm or thicker gels and are ideal for SDS page and 2D gels.
Flat (duck billed) 0.37mm OD tips are ideal for loading 0.4mm polyacrylamide sequencing gels, whereas flat 0.17mm OD tips are perfect for loading 0.2mm DNA sequencing gels.
The gel loading tips dispensing volumes between 0.5-200ul are 83mm in tip length allowing easy access to bottom of narrow vessels and gel wells together with a convenient 5ul graduation for easy volume check.
