Randox Laboratories has been awarded the prestigious title of International Company of the Year 2007 at the Growing Business awards on Wednesday 28 November 2007.
The awards ceremony took place at the London Marriott hotel, Grosvenor Square.
The trophy was presented to Randox managing director Peter FitzGerald by William Hague MP.
FitzGerald said "This is recognition of the hard work and dedication of all Randox staff.
"It is the company's innovation and determination that has enabled us to grow from strength to strength".
The International Company of the Year award recognises versatility, imagination and persistence in the international market.
Randox demonstrated a detailed understanding of the international market, coupled with the tactical ability to overcome obstacles such as bureaucracy and exchange rates.
Randox also showed a clear increase in international sales and market share over the past year.
Randox is headquartered in the UK with 25 international offices.
The company develops, manufactures and markets clinical diagnostic products, exporting 96% of their products to over 130 countries worldwide.
Core products are biochip array technology, clinical chemistry analysers and reagents, quality controls and EQA, environmental diagnostics, recombinant proteins and antibodies.
This is the sixtgh award of the year for Randox, and the fourth recognising international trade.
Randox attributes its international success to a readiness to embrace and understand different cultures and develop national companies through employment of local staff.
