Ipsogen has entered into a pilot agreement with AstraZeneca to evaluate molecular services and products in cancer research
Ipsogen will provide AstraZeneca with Jak2-based products for initial evaluation.
Ipsogen will conduct quantitative analysis in its Marseille laboratories on samples provided by AstraZeneca.
The study will help determine the viability of a test which could potentially be utilised by AstraZeneca in future clinical trials.
Ipsogen is the exclusive worldwide licensee of the intellectual property on Jak2 V617F mutation discovered by the Inserm team of Vainchenker at Institut Gustave Roussy, Paris.
The company has developed a comprehensive suite of products and services in order to assist pharmaceutical companies in the development of Jak2 inhibitors in myeloproliferative disorders.
Ipsogen says it intends to provide the best diagnostic tools in order to reduce the number of patients included into clinical trials, reduce the time to results and provide the most adapted diagnostic solution to personalize drug prescription.
