Thermo Fisher Scientific has established a new partnership with Alta Tecnologia to extend its substantial informatics offerings in Chile
The new distribution agreement allows Alta Tecnologia to support sales activities in Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia for the Thermo Scientific portfolio of informatics products which are focused on the process industries and analytical laboratories, including Nautilus Lims, Sample Manager Lims and Atlas CDS.
Dedicated sales experts will target those industries which are strong in the region, and which Thermo Fisher Scientific has long served, including the mining, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and chemical markets.

Gonzalo Gonzalez, of Alta Tecnologia, confirms: "Alta Tecnologia focuses on the Latin American market, currently specialising in mass spectroscopy, spectroscopy and elemental analysis.
"We already represent Thermo Fisher Scientific in Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia for mass spectrometry; chromatography; spectroscopy and elemental analysis products; and are responsible for the spectroscopy products (UV-Vis and IR) in Chile.
"Alta Tecnologia will offer sales and technical support for the informatics portfolio, bringing a dedicated local approach to the Thermo Fisher activity in the region".
