BioStorage Technologies (BST) has announced the initial members of its new scientific advisory board
The board consists of four life science industry leaders chosen by the company's management team for their knowledge and expertise in their respective fields of study.
The advisory board will provide guidance and direction to management for the ongoing development of the company's services, as well as establish innovative professional education programs and ensure the company maintains high ethical standards.
John Mills, chief executive officer of BioStorage Technologies, is chairman of the advisory board.
Joining Mills on the board are: David Ginsberg, author of the Investigator's Guide to Clinical Research and authority on clinical research; Jim Matthew, a discovery technology specialist and expert on biological and chemical specimen management; and Gary Wright, a well-respected physician ethicist.
According to Ginsberg, the board will serve as a liaison between the company and research and teaching institutions, as well as government agencies in scientific and medical matters.
"BioStorage Technologies is at the forefront of superior sample management solutions that will more effectively and efficiently support medical research efforts and biotech development for years to come.
It is my honor and pleasure to be part of an effort to being a premier provider to the life science industry".
"Our board includes an extraordinary cross section of industry leaders representing various organisations and fields of study who have a vital interest in the success of the company's goals and interest, said Mills.
"The experience these members bring to the table is remarkable, and I'm certain they will be a great resource to BioStorage Technologies as we continue to grow."
