Core Informatics has deployed an installation of the Core Lims to support Fabrus, the first occupant of Pfizer's business incubator at the La Jolla Research and Development Center
Before Fabrus commenced laboratory operations, the company's management understood the importance of a solid data management infrastructure to manage the production, inventory and screening of their antibody libraries.
With support from Pfizer's Engineering Center of Excellence, Fabrus conducted an extensive survey of the Lims marketplace that included an evaluation of over 30 Lims vendors.
Their conclusion was that the flexibility of the Core Lims and the customisation services offered by Core Informatics provided the best fit for their organisation.
James Graziano, chief operating officer at Fabrus was particularly impressed with the tight integration to their laboratory instrumentation.
"Core Informatics made the difficult task of integrating our complex instrumentation with their Lims look easy.
"The system was delivered on schedule and has exceeded expectations".
"This was a great project for our company", said Anthony Uzzo, president of Core Informatics.
"It provided our company with the perfect opportunity to highlight the benefits of our approach to the customisation process." The Core Lims was designed with customisation in mind from the onset.
As a result, Core Informatics says it can tailor its product to focus on customers' unique requirements more efficiently and cost effectively than any other Lims solution available on the market today.
