In response to robust growth in commercial sales of the company's unique trace gas analysers, Picarro has strengthened its sales and marketing team with the addition of two new executives
Iain Green has joined the company as director of marketing, while Mark Davis will serve in the role of vice president of sales.
Iain Green has over ten years of experience as a marketing executive in the field of analytical instruments.
Before joining Picarro, he was senior marketing manager of NMR products for Varian, and has considerable depth is marketing and sales of spectroscopy instruments.
He holds a PhD in chemistry from the University of London.
Mark Davis has held various executive and sales leadership positions in analytical instrumentation since 1989.
most recently, he served as director of US sales for Hach, a division of Danaher.
With $200m in US sales, this group manufactures and distributes analytical instruments and reagents used to verify and control the quality of water in municipal and industrial markets.
Davis received his MS in management of technology from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Picarro's trace gas analysers are based on WS-CRDS (wavelength-scanned cavity ring down spectroscopy), a time-based technology that measures gas concentrations with unprecedented performance and ease of use.
