Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), an oligonucleotide producer, has announced the completion of its newly-expanded European facility in the Haasrode Research Park area of Leuven, Belgium
The 2000m2 state-of-the-art production facility enables IDT to provide an even more effective service for its growing number of customers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
These same customers will also benefit from improved access to IDT's global product portfolio, including the unique SameDay Oligo service, saving researchers' valuable laboratory time.
With the SameDay Oligo service, an order for an unmodified standard oligo received before midday (GMT) can be dispatched the same day for arrival in the researcher's hands the very next morning.
Bonnie Barney, Sr VP European sales and marketing for IDT, commented: "With over 20 employees and the capability to produce around 4000 oligos daily at our European facility, we are now able to provide our customers with a very fast service, excellent support, and a fuller range of IDT's products - all from right here in Europe.
