Accelerated Technology Laboratories (ATL) announces a reciprocating sales alliance with Institute for Consulting and Data Handling (iCD), a laboratory consulting and software company in Cologne
iCD will provide local technical support for ATL's Lims clients and will market and implement ATL's Lims to clients in Europe.
Initially, this partnership will cover Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
ATL will provide local technical support for iCD's Lims clients and will market and implement iCD's Lims to clients in North America.
ATL has been a leader in the Lims industry for over a decade, pioneering Windows-based Lims and automating laboratories one at a time.
ATL prides itself on providing its clients with a total data management solution and a commitment to excellence in product quality, support and training.
The company hires experts in the fields of laboratory management, software development and automation.
ATL has provided Lims for a number of industry segments including government, environmental, commercial testing, food and beverage, industrial hygiene, materials testing and agriculture.
ATL's vice president of sales and marketing, Christine Paszko commented: "We are very excited by the opportunity created by this partnership.
"iCD has a very strong reputation in Europe in the laboratory informatics field and we feel confident it will represent ATL very well as we expand into Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
"At the same time, iCD has laboratory automation that complement ATL's Lims platform and we look forward to marketing and supporting the iCD product line in North America".
Peter Maier, senior sales and marketing manager of iCD, commented: "It may seem like unimaginable that two companies acting on the same business field as a leader in Lims could establish a partnership.
"However, the software portfolio of both companies as well as their service and support capabilities and capacities fit so perfectly together.
"We are very confident that the attractiveness of both companies for customers in the lab informatics and automation field again will rise considerably and customers will benefit from this partnership in North America as well as in Europe.
"We appreciate having found a strong partner in ATL and look forward to market and support the ATL product line in Europe."
