Peak Scientific Instruments has unveiled its range of hydrogen gas generators for gas chromatographs.
The PH hydrogen gas generators are designed to deliver an uninterrupted supply of 200, 300 or 600cc per minute of hydrogen.
An ion exchange membrane and a platinum catalyst in the electrode area allow a high level of purity to be achieved without causing any caustic solutions.
Additional features include a self-check for internal leaks on power-up, a mechanical pressure switch and forced air ventilation.
The routine maintenance is limited to replacing the silica gel desiccant and the deioniser bag, which minimises downtime.
Peak Scientific said that 10 years of close work with instrument users meant it could develop generators that match the specific gas requirements of each gas chromatograph system to ensure optimum performance.
